nearby Red Bud, IL. To improve public relations,
Anheuser-Busch supplied decals to retailers,
taverns, restaurants and liquor stores. The decals
read "This Bud's For You - Illinois Coal's For
Us. Budweiser Burns Illinois Coa.l. An instant hit
that created an upward swing in sales and promoted
good feelings toward Anheuser-Busch. |
